26th International Conference Applied Mechanics 2025
will take place in Hotel Galant in Mikulov from April 28–30, 2025.

About the Conference
The event is a part of the well-known Applied Mechanics series. These conferences aim to provide a platform mainly for PhD students and early-career researchers to present their scientific work in the field of applied mechanics and foster academic exchange. The organizers invite any researchers, scientists, and academic professionals in the field who are interested in supporting and engaging with the contributions of emerging scholars.
Scope
Interested participants are invited to submit contributions primarily related to the following topics:
• dynamics
• experimental mechanics
• noise and vibrations
• multibody dynamics
• computational mechanics
• biomechanics
• fluid mechanics
• mechatronics
• strength of materials, creep, plasticity
• fracture mechanics and fatigue
• durability and reliability of engineering structures
• structural mechanics
Conference Proceedings
Extended abstracts written in English are going to be published in the conference proceedings. Instructions and templates necessary for the preparation of the abstracts are available to download here:
Extended Abstract Template DOCXThe Scientific Committee will select the top 5 contributions during the event. These articles, after peer review, will be published in a regular issue of the "Strojnícký časopis – Journal of Mechanical Engineering" ISSN 2450-5471.

Official Languages
The official languages of the conference are Czech, Slovak, Polish and English. The slides for presentations must be prepared in English only.
Important Dates
| February 21, 2025 | Deadline for registration. Participants can register for the conference by filling in the on-line registration form at https://www.amkonference.cz and submitting a short abstract (max. 300 words). |
| February 28, 2025 | Notification of acceptance. |
| March 14, 2025 | Conference fee payment and submission of full papers. |
| April 28, 2025 | Start of the conference |
Conference Fee
The conference fee for all participants is
8 500 CZK (340 €)
The sum includes attendance at all scientific sessions, coffee breaks, meals during the conference, the social program and accommodation.
The conference fee is non-refundable in the event of a participant's absence; however, substitution by another person is allowed.
